As a general care tip, your jewelry should be the last thing you put on before going out and the first thing you remove upon coming home.

Store in a dry, dark place to protect against the elements.

Store pieces separately to avoid damage. 

Remove your jewelry before any activity that risks physical damage.

Store jewelry in a sealed plastic bag or airtight box when it is not being worn, it will keep out the air that causes oxidation, resulting in tarnishing.

If your jewelry is stored for long-periods of time, occasional cleaning is recommended to maintain shine and keep oxidation at bay. 

Your jewelry is particularly susceptible to damage from the effects of chemicals present in perfume, hairspray, make-up, nail polish remover, body oils, sun tan lotion and deodorant. 

Do not keep jewelry in direct sunlight as prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause gemstones to fade and lose their colour.
